Gallatin AI raises $50M Series A for software that plans US military logistics
The El Segundo company announced the Series A on October 8 and told Axios that 8VC and Silent Ventures took part. No lead or valuation was disclosed. Gallatin was founded in 2024, raised a seed round that year and came out of stealth in early 2025. It has now raised $70M in total, all equity. Its main product, Navigator, combines data on vehicle readiness, supply, medical and munitions so units can plan sustainment and distribution. Army and Air Force customers use it, and it has supported exercises in Japan, Alaska and Europe. This summer it signed a deal of undisclosed value with the III Armored Corps at Fort Hood. The new money pays for engineering hires, product development and a permanent presence on four continents. Defense tech funding has mostly chased drones and weapons. Gallatin is a bet that Pentagon spending on data infrastructure opens room for AI in military back-office work. Founders in other regulated, data-heavy sectors can borrow the same approach.
