AlpsenTek
AlpsenTek designs ALPIX-series hybrid and event-based vision sensors that put image capture and event detection in the same pixel. It sells the chips along with reference designs, vision modules and IP licensing. Target markets include smartphones, consumer electronics, smart home, security, robotics and automotive. The company was founded in 2019 by CEO Jian Deng and is legally based in Zürich, with operations in Shenzhen, China. It raised about US$30M in a Series A in 2022 led by an Oppo subsidiary, with Lenovo-linked and other investors. Further funding rounds were reported through 2025 and April 2026. In 2025 it launched the ALPIX-Pizol (APX014) hybrid sensor and the ALPIX-Maloja (APX002) pure event sensor.
