ASUENE
ASUENE (Asuene Inc.) sells a cloud and AI platform for calculating Scope 1-3 CO2 emissions, product carbon footprints and LCA, and for disclosure support. Its other products include ESG rating for supply-chain procurement, third-party assurance (ASUENE VERITAS), the Carbon EX carbon credit platform and the Secaro supply-chain platform. Customers are mainly Japanese corporates, manufacturers and listed companies, and the company says it supports over 30,000 corporate clients. It is venture-backed and raised a Series D led by BlackRock's Decarbonization Partners. It has made several acquisitions and operates in Japan, the US, Singapore, Thailand, Europe and the Philippines. It was founded in October 2019 by CEO Kohei Nishiwada, and its HQ is in Tokyo, not Chiba.
