Automation Anywhere develops cloud-based robotic process automation (RPA) and agentic process automation software. It covers process discovery, bots, AI agents, document processing, orchestration and analytics. Its customers are large enterprises in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and other industries, and it sells through enterprise software licences and subscriptions. It was founded in 2003 as Tethys Solutions and raised $840M in Series A and B funding in 2018–2019, including from SoftBank, Salesforce Ventures, NEA and Goldman Sachs. It reached a valuation of about $6.8B in 2019 and secured $200M in debt financing in 2022. Mihir Shukla is CEO. Third-party estimates put headcount at roughly 2,600 in March 2026, though sources vary.
