It combines process mining, process data, and AI to analyze and optimize business operations, and it is used across functions such as supply chain, finance, and IT. It sells software subscriptions to large enterprises through direct sales and a partner ecosystem. It was founded in 2011 as a TU Munich spin-off. It was valued at about $13B after its 2021–22 Series D, and total funding is reported at roughly $2.4B. It has about 3,000 employees, and in 2026 it acquired Make.com.
