Sunrise New Energy Co., Ltd. (formerly Global Internet of People, Nasdaq: EPOW) makes and sells graphite anode material for EV and other lithium-ion batteries, mainly through its Sunrise Guizhou joint venture. It was incorporated in the Cayman Islands in 2019 and listed on Nasdaq after a roughly $15M IPO in 2021. From 2022 it moved away from its original knowledge-sharing and enterprise-services business for small and medium-sized enterprises, which it still runs through a VIE structure. It was building a 138,000 m² plant in Guizhou, and in 2022 an investor put RMB 200M into the joint venture. Revenue was about $65M by early 2026, according to market-data sites.
