Hebbia's Matrix platform reads large volumes of unstructured documents such as filings, contracts and transcripts. It runs multi-step AI agent workflows on them and returns citation-backed answers in a spreadsheet-style interface. Customers are mainly financial institutions, including asset managers, private equity firms and investment banks, plus law firms and other large enterprises. It sells to businesses on a subscription basis. Founded in 2020 by George Sivulka, it raised a $130M Series B led by Andreessen Horowitz in 2024, reportedly at about a $700M valuation, and has raised about $161M in total. It acquired FlashDocs in 2025, and its headcount was roughly 197 in mid-2026.
