Most AI infrastructure was built for speed. It was not built for the question that comes six months later, when a regulator, an auditor, or your own legal team asks: what data entered your AI systems, where did it go, who had access to it, and can you prove it? In regulated industries — financial services, legal, healthcare — that question is not hypothetical. It is an operational requirement. And most teams discover too late that the infrastructure they deployed cannot answer it. Katara is compliance-native RAG infrastructure built specifically for regulated environments. That means PII and PCI monitoring, data isolation, role-based access control, audit logging, and data lineage are not features you configure after deployment. They are the foundation the platform is built on. What we make possible: Deploy production AI workflows without creating compliance exposure you will have to explain later. Isolate sensitive datasets so your retrieval layer cannot assemble information across boundaries it was never authorized to cross. Generate audit trails your compliance team can hand to an examiner — not a logging dashboard, a regulatory artifact. Answer the governance questions your auditors will ask before they ask them. We work with teams in regulated industries running agentic AI and RAG workflows who need to move fast without outpacing their compliance obligations. If your team is deploying AI in a regulated environment and you are not certain you can answer the governance que
