Landing Zones
Landing Zones Canada designs and produces uncrewed aerial systems, including the GITPO RPAS. A weather balloon lifts it to the stratosphere, and it then uses AI to fly back autonomously, as a reusable alternative to single-use radiosondes. It also offers aerospace engineering, training and testing services, with defence and government customers. It was incorporated in 2022. In 2026 it received a repayable federal loan of about C$1.1M (PrairiesCan, RAII), the first investment from BDC's StrongNorth Fund (April 2026), and an Airbus strategic partnership with an undisclosed investment (July 2026).
