NSCC Singapore was established in 2015 to manage the country's national HPC resources. It is a National Research Infrastructure funded by the National Research Foundation. It allocates compute on its ASPIRE supercomputers to research institutes, universities, government agencies, SMEs and startups, mainly through project calls rather than commercial sales. In 2024 the government committed S$270M for next-generation supercomputing. ASPIRE 2A+ (320 NVIDIA H100 GPUs) ranked 90th on the November 2024 TOP500 list, and ASPIRE 2B was launched in June 2026.
