Noah's Ark Lab is the AI research arm of Huawei Technologies. It was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Hong Kong, with sites in Shenzhen, Beijing, Montreal and other cities. Its work covers machine learning, NLP, efficient AI and trustworthy AI, and it publishes open-source models and libraries such as GhostNet, HEBO and Pangu code models. It is a corporate R&D unit, not a standalone commercial company, so it has no separate funding or revenue. Its main customer is Huawei's own product and cloud businesses.
