Optasia (formerly Channel VAS) runs an AI credit-decisioning and risk platform on a B2B2X model. Mobile network operators, wallet providers and financial institutions use it to offer airtime advances and micro-loans to their own customers. Its main lines are Micro Financing Solutions and Airtime Credit Solutions, and it operates in about 38 countries across Africa, the Middle East and Asia. It listed on the JSE in November 2025 (ticker OPA), raising about R6.5bn at a R23.5bn valuation. 2025 revenue was $265.4m, up 76%, and H1 2026 revenue was $185.3m, up 58%.
