SiPearl designs high-performance, low-power CPUs for supercomputing and AI. Its first chip, Rhea1, has 80 Arm Neoverse V1 cores and over 61 billion transistors, and TSMC manufactures it. Rhea1 is intended for the CPU cluster of JUPITER, Europe's first exascale supercomputer. SiPearl is a fabless company that sells chips to supercomputing centers and, later, to data-center and enterprise customers. It closed a €130M Series A in July 2025, with investors including Arm, Atos/Eviden, the EIC Fund, the French State and Cathay Venture, and it planned a €200M Series B for 2026–2028. It had about 200 employees across France, Spain and Italy in 2025.
