Statespace makes Aim Lab, a free-to-use training platform for first-person shooter players. It measures aiming and cognitive skills and gives players drills, coaching and analytics. It was founded in 2017 by neuroscientists Wayne Mackey and Jay Fuller, and it also does clinical and cognitive-performance research. It mainly sells to consumers (B2C) and partners with esports teams and game publishers such as Riot Games. It acquired the ProGuides training platform in 2021. It raised a $50M Series C in September 2021 led by Khosla Ventures and Lux Capital. Sources put its total funding between about $96M and $153M.
