Villanova is an ambitious and innovative initiative in the field of Artificial Intelligence, selected and funded by the European Union through the IPCEI-CIS program, alongside 120 companies and research organizations from 12 member states. The goal is to overcome technological and linguistic barriers that delay the large-scale adoption of Multimodal Generative Artificial Intelligence, making advanced technologies more accessible. Villanova stands out for its research, development, and implementation of innovative solutions, aiming to become a hub for collaboration in the AI landscape. The adoption of an open-source digital infrastructure ensures inclusivity, innovation, and unrestricted access, reducing technological dependencies and fostering new business models applicable to various industries. The project aims to create a collaborative ecosystem among developers, businesses, and institutions, encouraging the dissemination and adoption of AI across different fields. Through the open exchange of ideas and methodologies, Villanova also aims to train future experts and scientists, generating added value for the European economy and society. Villanova’s vision focuses on an innovative approach to content generation, with business models capable of producing high-quality textual and multimedia content in real-time and making accurate predictions on time series data. The project promotes human-AI collaboration through an advanced open-source framework, developing reusable tools a
