Vizgard's FortifAI software runs on low-power edge hardware. It detects, classifies and tracks objects such as drones, people, boats and aircraft, and controls PTZ cameras and unmanned platforms to cut false alarms and operator workload. Customers include defence primes, camera and drone OEMs, police forces, the UK Ministry of Defence, HMGCC Co-Creation and the Home Office. It earns revenue from software licensing, custom AI development and support contracts. It raised a £1.5M seed round in January 2025, led by Sure Valley Ventures with Focal and Midwich Ignite, and is also grant- and accelerator-backed. Its founder and CEO is Alex Kehoe, a former Royal Navy submariner.
