Tenex.AI raises $250M Series B at $1B led by Crosspoint
Shield Capital and DeepWork Capital joined Crosspoint in the round. Andreessen Horowitz led the company's $27 million Series A in September 2025. The company plans to add more than 250 employees, and the money also goes to EMEA expansion and deeper partnerships. Coverage ran in early April, so the March date is approximate. Tenex sells managed detection and response run by agentic AI, with human experts overseeing critical decisions. It resells and delivers security products from Google, Microsoft and Amazon to enterprise clients. Since leaving stealth in early 2025, it has booked more than $25 million in contracted revenue. One database lists revenue at $43M, which would put the multiple near 23x, but that figure is not confirmed by the company. For AI founders, the deal shows investors paying unicorn prices for AI-delivered services built on hyperscaler channels, not only for software. A company about two years old reached $1B on roughly $25M of contracted revenue. Founders in services-heavy categories can expect the same scrutiny of gross margin and human oversight cost when they raise.
