Launched at DevDay a day after Meta's Muse, Dots run on GPT-6 Astra and are reachable from ChatGPT, Slack and Teams with shared context. Idle agents do proactive, read-only research for ways to help, and anything touching an account goes through an auto-review check. One agent is included with Pro ($100/month) and Business Premium, with specialist agents that have their own identity and credentials in enterprise beta.

Link's agent wallet lets an AI agent request a purchase, the user approve it, and a one-time virtual card pay for it.

The team came from the original GitHub Copilot group (de Moor created Copilot). Over 200 customers include major banks, Fortune 500 companies and cloud providers.

Bolt agents act as admissions consultants for colleges: answering aid questions, nudging applicants, reviewing transcripts and flagging fraud.

An AI coworker that runs order-to-cash end to end: credit, collections, cash application, disputes and deductions.

Stuut targets the whole order-to-cash cycle at large enterprises, not reminder emails: $3B+ has moved through it, it has collected $21M+ for ZoomInfo alone, and it says 81.7% of outbound collections run with no human involvement. It builds a persistent memory of each customer's payment behaviour and portals, logs every action, and requires approval before changing behaviour. Customers include Honeywell, Verifone and NCR Voyix; it raised a $52.5M Series B from Insight this week.

An AI employee that lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams and works across a company's tools to finish tasks and recurring workflows.

Many startups claim an 'AI employee'; Viktor cites revenue: a $50M annualized run rate in under seven months, from $15M in May to $20M in June, with no salespeople. It is built for whole teams rather than individuals, keeps persistent organisational memory, and scans public channels to propose workflows it can take over. Accel led a $75M Series A with Slack's founders as angels.

Townies are character-based AI coworkers you text, and that join group chats, for inbox-driven work like monitoring supplier prices or chasing clients.

Each Townie learns how you work rather than making you learn a tool, and coordinates with your teammates' Townies; paying businesses grew ninefold between July and October at $50–$200 per user per month. Town's data policy is the differentiator: no training on customer data, most data deleted after 15 days, and access through connected software instead of stored copies. Greze was Plaid's CTO; a16z led the $55M Series A.

Agents that run loan servicing and consumer-finance operations: collections calls, payments, disputes, compliance monitoring and customer service.

Salient takes over work that used to go to offshore operations centers, for Westlake Financial, AutoNation Finance, Exeter, Ally and three of the ten largest US banks, and reports $40M+ annualized revenue, up from $14M in mid-2025. Its engineers embed on site with customers, it says every pilot has converted to a paid deal, and it is building toward an autonomous system of record for loans with credit reporting and charge-off modules.

Browserbase sells the infrastructure layer rather than an assistant: over 10,000 companies build on it (Ramp, Shopify, Lovable among them), it served about 37 million browser sessions in March, and it has automated more than 2,000 years' worth of browsing. The open-source Stagehand SDK sees 800,000 weekly downloads, and the 2026 Agents product hosts the whole agent loop and returns structured results.

An AI assistant that runs shrimp farms in shipping containers, turning farm data into the day's tasks for on-site workers.

The software models shrimp biology and biofloc water chemistry so people with no aquaculture background can run a farm: Atarraya trained former construction workers as shrimp farmers in three weeks. The flat-packed Shrimpbox tanks deploy quickly, and the company is moving to an asset-light model with the Middle East (a UAE pilot with Silal) as a growth market. It has raised $22M.

A swipeless dating app where a voice agent interviews you for about 20 minutes, then makes one introduction at a time and plans the first date.

There are no profiles, no swiping and no in-app chat: matches get 24 hours to accept and 24 hours to agree a date, and the agent picks the venue. Sixty percent of introductions are accepted and thousands of dates have been scheduled across the Bay Area and San Diego. It charges $15 per date instead of a subscription, which Known says cuts no-shows. Two Stanford dropouts raised $10M from Forerunner and NFX.

Pion is a platform for running an entire business with persistent agents that have email, phone, banking, cards and a browser.

Andon tests whether agents can run real businesses, not whether they can chat: its agents run a boutique on Union Street in San Francisco (writing job posts, interviewing applicants, managing human staff), a cafe in Stockholm, vending machines and four radio stations, with a supervisor agent, Andonos, watching the operator. The store is not profitable yet, and Pion's waitlist drew thousands of companies from 40+ countries. YC-backed, with only a small round raised.

Fo is a personal agent on iMessage, WhatsApp or the web that researches, calls, emails, books and pays with single-use virtual cards.

Fo has its own phone number, email address and patented single-use cards, and when it gets stuck a trained human assistant steps in, which is why it is reliable enough for jobs like finding a plumber, getting quotes and scheduling the visit. It runs in isolated encrypted compute and only calls whitelisted contacts. Tens of thousands of users in 107 countries, doubling every two days after the late-September launch; Khosla Ventures and Jeff Dean back it.

Agents for government tax agencies that assemble documents, reconcile records and link evidence to law, with officials making the decisions.

Govra builds for the enforcement side of tax: a pilot with California's Department of Tax and Fee Administration, with Indiana, Wisconsin and New Hampshire following, where an official sees room for 20–30% more audits because auditors spend a third of their time assembling material. It runs inside the agency's own environment so every step is auditable, never picks targets or makes final judgments, and former IRS commissioner Danny Werfel advises.
