Grab acquires Atome for $1.49B

Atome is a financial technology company that provides buy now, pay later and digital payment services for consumers and merchants. On September 15, 2026, Grab announced it would acquire Atome for $1.49B (cash). Grab is a mobile application that provides taxi, payment, lending, and insurance services. At the middle of Crunchbase's revenue estimate ($100M to $500M) the price works out to roughly 7× revenue.
