doxx.net raises $38M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz for private networks built for AI agents
doxx.net, founded by Prolexic creator Barrett Lyon, raised a $38 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz with Animo Ventures and Focal participating; a16z partner Joel De La Garza joins the board. The company's 'Agentic Defined Networking' platform gives people and AI agents private, encrypted networks with DNS-level filtering, peer-to-peer transfers and anti-fingerprinting, and says it blocked 38 million threats during a closed beta that began in December 2025. Clients run on iOS, macOS, Android, Windows and Linux. As agents get email and bank access, a network layer that constrains where they can reach is becoming a real product category.
