Globalstar provides satellite communication services for voice, data, and asset tracking in remote and mobile environments. On April 14, 2026, Amazon announced it would acquire Globalstar for $11.57B (cash & stock). Amazon is a tech firm with a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and AI infrastructure. At the middle of Crunchbase's revenue estimate ($100M to $500M) the price works out to roughly 52× revenue.
