Nvidia buys GPU-rental marketplace Lepton AI for several hundred million

Nvidia acquired Lepton AI, the two-year-old startup that rents GPU capacity across clouds, in April 2025 for a reported several hundred million dollars — the foundation of DGX Cloud Lepton, Nvidia's own marketplace sitting on top of its cloud partners.
