Bending Spoons buys Airtable at a $1.285B enterprise value — under 3× ARR

Bending Spoons agreed on August 4 to acquire Airtable at a $1.285B enterprise value (about $2.25B of equity value once Airtable's cash is counted), a fraction of the $11B the company was valued at in 2021. Airtable had roughly $480M of ARR growing more than 20%, which makes this one of the cheapest AI-platform exits of the year at under 3× ARR.
