xAI closes $20B Series E weeks before folding into SpaceX

xAI announced a $20B Series E on January 6 from Valor Equity Partners, Fidelity, Qatar Investment Authority and a long list of strategic backers, at a reported valuation around $230B. Four weeks later SpaceX absorbed the company at a $250B valuation.
