JLL 2026 Global Data Center Outlook: ~100 GW of new capacity by 2030 and a $3T infrastructure supercycle

JLL expects nearly 100 GW of new data centers between 2026 and 2030, doubling global capacity, a 14% sector CAGR and up to $3 trillion of investment. AI was about a quarter of workloads in 2025 but could be half by 2030, with inference overtaking training around 2027; power, not location or cost, becomes the binding constraint.
