Fermata's Croptimus platform takes images from off-the-shelf cameras and uses in-house AI models to detect pests, diseases and nutrient problems, then sends alerts to growers through an app. It sells directly to commercial greenhouse and indoor farms and partners with large agribusinesses such as Bayer and Syngenta, and with Viscon Group and Tomatoworld. In January 2025 it raised a $10M Series A led by Raw Ventures, and in 2025 Croptimus won the FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award. Third-party estimates of about 38–44 employees and about $5.8M ARR (2025) are unverified.
