Gecko Robotics
Gecko builds robots that climb, crawl, swim and fly to collect ultrasonic and other first-order data from industrial assets. Its Cantilever software platform uses AI to turn that data into predictive maintenance and operational planning. Customers include the U.S. Navy and other defense agencies, Fortune 100 firms, and energy, oil and gas, power and mining operators. It sells multi-year service contracts, for example a March 2026 Navy IDIQ worth up to $71M over five years. It raised a $125M Series D in June 2025 at a $1.25B valuation, led by Cox Enterprises, and has raised roughly $345–355M in total, depending on the source. In 2026 it announced a defense manufacturing facility in the Sewickley area.
