Lima Labs uses drones, on-farm sensors and machine learning to run weekly farm assessments. These track crop growth, dieback and grades, and feed forecasts that connect production data with sales and freight planning. Its customers are large commercial farms. Business Daily reported in about 2023 that it worked with 53 large companies, though the article is truncated, so this figure is only partly verified. Co-founders Jasper Simpkin (CEO) and Ghaith Limam started the company in Kenya after working in Berlin. Preqin lists Arché-Gruppe as an investor. Latka estimates 2024 revenue at about $3.2M, which is an unverified third-party figure.
