Liquid AI
Liquid AI is an MIT CSAIL spinout that builds non-transformer Liquid Foundation Models (LFMs). These are small, memory-efficient models for text, vision, audio and other multimodal data, and they are designed to run on-device. It also sells the Liquid Edge AI Platform (LEAP) for fine-tuning, optimizing and deploying models on target hardware. Customers are enterprises and developers in sectors such as automotive, consumer electronics, finance and healthcare. It raised a $250M Series A led by AMD Ventures in December 2024 at a reported valuation of about $2B, and it had about 137 employees as of August 2026.
