Reka AI
Reka is an AI research and product company founded in 2022 by former DeepMind, Google and Meta researchers. Its natively multimodal models (Flash, Edge, Core) handle text, image, video and audio, and it sells them through APIs, on-premise or on-device deployments, and products such as Reka Vision, Reka Research and Nexus. Customers are mainly large enterprises and government agencies, and revenue comes from enterprise deployments and API use. It raised a $110M Series B in July 2025 from investors including Nvidia and Snowflake at a reported $1B valuation. In June 2026 it added about 50 researchers from Moonvalley and shifted toward physical-world AI. Public sources list its headquarters as Sunnyvale, CA, and I could not verify a San Carlos location.
