PTC is a Boston-based software company. Its main products are Creo and Onshape (CAD), Windchill (PLM), Codebeamer (ALM) and ServiceMax (service lifecycle). It has added AI features such as Codebeamer AI and Windchill AI Parts Rationalization. It has more than 30,000 customers, mainly in industrials, aerospace and defense, electronics, automotive, and medtech and life sciences. It earns mostly recurring software license and subscription revenue. Revenue was $2.74B in fiscal 2025, up 19%, and it had 7,642 employees at Sept 30, 2025. In March 2026 it sold Kepware and ThingWorx to TPG for about $523M in cash at closing. On Oct 5, 2026, Schneider Electric agreed to acquire PTC for $205 per share (about $22.6B equity value), with closing expected in Q3 2027.
