Re:Pair Genomics uses machine learning to design compact, cell-type-specific synthetic regulatory DNA (promoters and enhancers) for gene therapies. It delivers ranked, synthesis-ready designs within about a day, compared with months of manual design and validation. Its customers are academic labs, biotech and pharma researchers working with AAV, lentiviral and non-viral vectors. It appears to sell design services and partnerships, but the pricing model is not public. It is a University of Toronto-linked startup that won second place at Medicine by Design's 2024 Building a Biotech Venture Pitch Competition (C$10,000). It received a 2025 grant from the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation, and the amount is not disclosed.
