UNION
UNION Technologies (legal name UEP, Inc.) builds modular, autonomous, AI-driven factories for defense manufacturing, starting with munitions and energetics. It runs on its own software stack: Faction (factory operating system), Fabric (secure SCADA) and Factorial (site intelligence). It formed in Q4 2024 and came out of stealth in April 2025 with a $50M seed round. It targets U.S. and allied defense customers. It has partnered with Canadian firm NALAGX on 155mm ammunition production, and had roughly 11–50 employees at last report.
