Jack & Jill AI raises £30M ($40.6M) Series A
Air Street Capital led the round, with Madrona and Antler joining as new investors. Existing backers Creandum, Ada Ventures, Entrepreneurs First and others also took part. Company filings show shares worth £30M were allotted in early August, and separate filings suggest part of the round was a secondary sale by existing holders. Air Street founder Nathan Benaich and Creandum's Peter Specht joined the board at the end of July. Valuation was not disclosed. The company was founded in March 2025 and runs two voice-based agents, one for job seekers and one for employers. It reports 350,000 professionals on its network, 5,000 employer clients including Ramp and Attio, and 25,000 interviews arranged, with 5,000 more each month. Total funding is about $60M after a $20M seed in October 2025. The company also raised its minimum engineering salary to £360k last month. For founders, the pace is the signal: a round more than twice the seed size arrived within roughly a year, in a category where European startups have already out-raised all of 2025. Marketplace products with traction data on both sides of a transaction can raise quickly, but investors are also paying for talent-market aggression, which pushes hiring costs up for everyone competing for AI engineers.
