Infisical raises $40M Series B at $600M valuation to secure AI agent credentials
Infisical raised $40 million in Series B funding at a $600 million valuation, according to its own announcement. Elad Gil led the round after backing the company's earlier Series A, and Gradient and Y Combinator are also named among the investors. The company says it serves more than 1,300 customers and 300,000 developers, and that it secures 10 billion secrets every day. The new capital will go to product development and to larger engineering and go-to-market teams. Its Agent Vault product lets companies give AI agents access to systems without exposing the underlying credentials. The announcement treats agents as a new category of user inside enterprises, which turns their access into a security question. Gil expects that question to weigh heavily on enterprises over the next ten years. For teams building agents, credential design belongs in the first architecture review. Scoped, revocable permissions for each agent, plus audit trails, are cheaper to add before an agent touches production data than after an incident. Funding for that layer suggests buyers treat it as core infrastructure rather than an add-on.
