Tractian raises $130M Series D at $1.4B valuation for physical AI

Tractian sells sensors and an agentic platform that reads vibration, ultrasound and other machine signals to flag failures. The company says more than 2,000 critical facilities use its system, including Coca-Cola bottling sites and Embraer plants. The Atlanta startup is seven years old and counts pharmaceutical manufacturers among its customers. Sapphire Ventures led its Series C as well as this round. Axios Pro reported that N47, General Catalyst, Bosch Ventures, 53 Stations and Monashees also joined. The Information first reported the unicorn valuation. For AI builders, the round shows that industrial AI companies with installed sensor bases can reach unicorn valuations without consumer exposure. Teams selling into asset-heavy sectors should watch how deployments turn into recurring revenue, because that is what investors are pricing.
