Vinci raises $250M Series B at a $1.5B valuation for AI-native physics simulation of chips and hardware
Vinci, a Palo Alto startup whose AI-plus-physics platform simulates chip and hardware designs with up to 15B degrees of freedom in minutes, raised a $250M Series B at a $1.5B post-money valuation. Advent, Temasek and Xora Innovation co-led, joined by AMD Ventures, Eclipse, Khosla Ventures and Madrona, taking total funding to roughly $296M less than a year after the company left stealth. The roughly 70-person company runs thermal and thermo-mechanical simulation today and will use the money to add vibration and electromagnetics and to grow from two pilots toward 20 customer engagements. It is a direct challenge to Cadence and Synopsys from a company barely three years old.
