Vocca raises $20M Series A led by Norrsken VC after growing to 15,000 practitioners on its patient-call AI
Vocca, a New York- and Paris-based voice AI that answers and handles patient calls for medical practices, raised a $20M Series A led by Norrsken VC with Heal Capital, Speedinvest, Firstminute Capital and angels including the founders of Alan and Datadog; total funding is $25M. The company grew from 2,000 to 15,000 practitioners across 1,500 practices and 20+ specialties in a year, now handles more than one million patient interactions a month and resolves about 70% of them end-to-end, with revenue up 7x year over year. The roughly 40-person team plans to double headcount by year-end and use the capital to build scheduling infrastructure, add channels beyond voice and deepen the US push. Front-desk automation in healthcare is converting fast once the agent can actually book the appointment.
