Wuxi Juxie Intelligent Drive raises over RMB 100M Series A+ for humanoid robot joint modules
PEdaily reported the round on October 10. Huatai Zijin Investment led, with Johnson Electric, Ninebot Capital and embodied AI startup X Square Robot taking part, while existing backers Ecovacs and Nanjing Innovation Investment Group invested again. The company only said the round was over RMB 100M, about $14M. Juxie was founded in 2019 and builds integrated robot joints. It says it makes seven core parts in house: reducers, motors, bearings, encoders, drivers, force sensors and brakes. In August it launched a lite joint module series priced in the hundreds of yuan. It plans capacity of 200,000 modules in 2026 and 1 million in 2027, and supplies customers in embodied AI, medical devices, semiconductors and factory automation. Ecovacs led its previous round in October 2025. Joints make up a large share of a humanoid's bill of materials. Chinese suppliers driving actuator prices this low, with robot makers investing directly, cut hardware costs across the industry and put pressure on teams building their own actuators.
