cosma
Cosma, founded in 2022 in Nice, builds autonomous underwater drones that survey the seabed at depths up to 200 m. A cloud platform turns the images into photogrammetric seabed models and AI-based habitat and species detection. Early clients include RWE, EGIS, WWF and the French Navy, and it sells data-acquisition and environmental-study services to public and private customers. It raised €2.5M in 2025 (led by Wind and Ternel, with 50 Partners and Ifremer) and reported about €150k revenue in 2024. A further €2.05M raise was reported in 2026 as it expands into defence, offshore energy and infrastructure inspection.
