infrared.city develops a cloud platform that uses AI models to run environmental simulations such as wind, solar radiation and thermal comfort in real time. It targets architecture, engineering and construction firms, urban planners and municipalities, and sells the platform as software-as-a-service. The company spun out of the Austrian Institute of Technology's City Intelligence Lab in 2023. It raised a €1M pre-seed round in October 2023, led by xista science ventures with 2bX, Antler, HEARTFELT and P3A. Euroquity reports about €1.6M raised in total and about €170K in revenue, with customers including Hamburg City, Zaha Hadid Architects and Foster+Partners.
