OneThird
OneThird sells handheld and retail-store near-infrared scanners with AI algorithms. A cloud platform shares the quality and shelf-life data across the fresh produce supply chain. Its customers include growers, distributors and retailers, and it supplies Bakker Barendrecht, which serves Albert Heijn. It was founded in 2019 as a Halma/Ocean Insight spin-out. In January 2025 it closed a €3.5M Series A led by Invest International, bringing total funding to about €9.25M, and appointed Henrike Langbroek as CEO. Its retail scanners were deployed in 10 countries as of 2025.
