Nvidia agreed in September 2025 to hire Enfabrica CEO Rochan Sankar and his team and license the startup's technology for connecting hundreds of thousands of GPUs, in a cash-and-stock deal worth more than $900M, the chip world's version of the Windsurf-style reverse acqui-hire.
