Wonderful raises $550M at $5B six months after its last round
Insight Partners led the Series C, with Salesforce entering as a new investor. Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer also took part. Investors put another $170 million into a secondary deal, buying shares from employees and early angels. Total funding since the early-2025 founding now tops $800 million. Since the March Series B, the company has expanded to more than 35 markets and grown to 650 employees. The valuation path is steep. A seed of about $34 million came in July 2025, then $100 million in November at $700 million, then $150 million in March at $2 billion. The company now pitches an "AI operating system" that coordinates agents, workflows and applications. It is model-agnostic and works with existing technology stacks. One report notes that it has mainly shipped customer-facing agents so far. For AI founders, the round shows where enterprise money is going: vendors that pair a platform with forward-deployed engineers who work alongside customers and hand over knowledge. Proceeds are earmarked for local deployment teams, so services-heavy delivery is part of the growth model. A strategic investor like Salesforce also signals that incumbents prefer to back agent platforms rather than compete with them.
