Yincheng Intelligent raises ¥100M ($14.9M) Series A
Reports list the company under the name Yincheng Intelligence, with the Chinese name 银河橙, and describe it as a maker of logistics picking robots. The round was co-led by Huamintou and Shanghai Semiconductor Industry Investment. Crunchbase's round record names no investors, so this comes from a single weekly China funding roundup. The valuation has not been reported. The roundup converts the amount at $14.3M, slightly below the $14.9M in the headline, which reflects different exchange-rate assumptions. The same roundup listed Shutu Technology, an AI data and tactile intelligence startup, with a Pre-A of about RMB 100M co-led by CDH Investments and Kunpeng Fund. ENCOS, which makes robot joint modules and dexterous hands, raised RMB 300M in a Series B. The roundup's title says 103 China startups raised $3.17B in the week. Robotics rounds of around RMB 100M are common at this stage. For founders building robotics or embodied AI companies, the co-lead from a semiconductor-focused fund suggests that hardware-adjacent and state-linked investors are funding narrow, commercially defined tasks such as warehouse picking. Teams selling to a specific logistics workflow can raise at this size without a general-purpose robot story. Founders targeting Chinese capital should also expect investor and valuation details to arrive late, and often only through secondary reports.
