Confido Health raises $12.5M Series A led by Z47 for AI front-office automation
Z47 led the Series A, with Justin Saks, Together Fund and Blume Ventures participating. AlleyWatch puts total reported equity funding at $25.5M. No valuation or revenue was disclosed. Confido Health builds an AI platform that handles healthcare office tasks including scheduling, insurance verification, billing and patient outreach. Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff founded the company in 2023. Z47 is the firm formerly known as Matrix Partners India. Voice and workflow agents for provider back offices have become a crowded category, with many startups chasing the same scheduling and prior-authorization budgets. For founders, the round shows that a focused Series A of this size is still available for agent products with a clear operational metric, such as calls handled or claims verified. Differentiation is likely to come from integrations with practice management and billing systems rather than from the underlying model, so teams building in this space should prioritize those connectors early.
