Harmonic Security closes oversubscribed $50M Series B to police employee AI use
Crosspoint Capital Partners led the round, with unnamed existing investors participating. Earlier rounds were led by Next47 on the $17.5M Series A and Ten Eleven Ventures on the $7M seed, and both are listed on the company's About page. Total funding is now $76M. Proceeds go to engineering and go-to-market hiring in the US and UK, where Harmonic has grown to more than 90 staff. The company says it covers millions of employees at more than 100 companies and signed new distribution partnerships with Climb and Distology. Its platform uses custom small language models to classify each AI interaction in milliseconds, and it has expanded from browser monitoring to desktop AI tools and agentic workflows. It is also an integration partner for Cisco's Agent Builder and has a connector to Claude's Compliance API. For founders selling AI tools into large companies, the raise signals that security teams are budgeting for governance of employee AI use as its own line item. Expect procurement reviews to ask for this kind of visibility.
