DoiT buys Attribute, which tracks AI token and cloud spend by team and agent
DoiT acquired Attribute, and Calcalist estimates the price at about $65M. The companies did not disclose terms. Attribute was founded in 2023 by Unit 81 alumni Izhak Zimmermann and Liad Tropp. It raised roughly $13.5M in seed funding from Israeli investors including Mensch Capital, SCapital, HarelTech and IBI. The product attributes spending on AI tokens, models and shared cloud resources to teams, products, features, agents and individual customers. DoiT serves more than 4,500 customers in 27 countries. Calcalist counts Attribute as DoiT's latest purchase in a series of acquisitions over two years totalling about $200M. For AI builders, margins depend on knowing the cost to serve each customer and each agent. Buyers in cloud cost management are treating that visibility as a required feature, so standalone AI cost tools face consolidation. Founders building usage-based AI products should treat per-customer inference cost attribution as basic infrastructure, and a standalone product in that area as a likely acquisition target.
