Hadrian raises $40M co-led by Forgepoint and Smartfin for agentic offensive security
Amsterdam-based Hadrian raised $40M co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and Smartfin, with existing investors HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital and Oetker Ventures participating, bringing total funding to $65M. Its platform pairs continuous external attack-surface management (Atlas) with on-demand AI penetration testing (Nova), runs more than 100 million attack simulations a day, and uses a second AI layer to police the hacking agent. Customers include McKesson, NBCUniversal, TotalEnergies, Amadeus and Damen Shipyards; the company claims 80% faster time to resolution than manual pentesting. The money goes to EMEA and US expansion and engineering hires as attackers adopt the same agentic tooling.
