Procuros raises €20M Series A led by XAnge to build the data layer for AI agents running B2B trade
Hamburg-based Procuros raised a €20M (about $23M) Series A led by XAnge, with new investor W23 Global and existing backers Point Nine, Creandum, b2venture and SquareOne. The platform lets retailers and suppliers connect once and exchange validated, harmonized order and invoice data with every trading partner, replacing EDI and manual processes; about €3B of annualized order volume now flows through it for 300+ customers including Breuninger, flaconi and KoRo. The company pitches itself as the connectivity layer AI agents need to execute supply-chain transactions, and will use the funds to expand beyond DACH and the UK into wider Europe and the US. Clean, machine-readable trade data is the prerequisite for agentic procurement, and that is the wedge here.
